Stargate and mixed cuttings

I was pondering tablescape of Christmas Eve.

I need to set table with mixed things,

because I don't have enough f.e. plates alike.

It seems there will be 8 adults and 5 children.

And I do have few new plates I bought from flea market

- which I of course want to use.

I don't have service plates either.

So I needed something.

And cut rounded covers from same paper table cover I used in Kekri under plates.

Paper was wrinkled,

so I put some press on them

old encyclopedias are very useful

- in hope they will get plain.

Otherwise I need to try ironing,

and that can turn out very interesting...

Just because there was "leftovers" after,

I decided to cut some stars.

I used gingerbread mold to get decent shape.

And got soon some help...

Made it very easy when tail was whipping around...

someone is sitting on paper stars...

And when I once started "crafting",

I decided to do something like these:

And digged up few molds and chose stars and hearts.

I covered them with ribbon...

Even though Roksu decided to get a nap on my work...

I managed to get them done...

and hanged on lamp.

Have seen more fabulous decor during my life...

But I wasn't ready yet.

I also cut few snowflakes from paper napkins.

And as I had huge pile of paper stars

- and no slices idea,

what to do them,

I am now having stars on library window...

On closet door...

And stargate into kitchen:

I think my crafting for Christmas is done.

At least I hope so.
