No secret

It is not a secret,

that I am in love with sea.

And am just a little delighted on rocks.

Something small

In February I wasn't sure of anything.

In March I resing.

If I am not sure anything else,

I am sure it was a good decision.

Not bored yet,

but who could in summer?

IRRC - and weekend in Imatra

Hubby and I spent a weekend in Imatra.

Just two of us

- and tens of thousand of other people,

who had came to Imatra to follow International Road Racing Competition.

It is different for me now.

To follow motorbike races.

Seven years I was hanging in pit stops, following races

- and scared.

now I am able to just be there like an average spectator.

There is something intriguing with water.

When it stays still,

it calms you down.

And when it cascases with it's all force,

it also scares - and enchants.

By the rapids in spring it is easy to believe in the spirit of water.

And how it lures you to join in.

I, however, stayed on banks.

We spent a day in nature.

Hubby, our eldest son and I.

Cesvaine Evangelic Lutheran Church

Cesvaine was full of old, beautiful buildings.

We came across Evangelic Lutheran Church by fortune.

Well, it could not miss,

if driving at least right side of the town

It was rising high,

reaching up to the sky.

On the 1st of May weekend it was fifth time,

when we spent it in Latvia.

And I can say,

that I haven't seen much more than race tracks over there.

So this time we did it differently.

A stormy journey across Estonia

Two weeks ago, April 29th, we step on board in Helsinki 

and started our yearly travel to Madona, Latvia.

Weather was bad,

wind blew in the gust 25 m/s

- and even Megastar was swinging in the wind.

Summer holiday- started and ended with motorsport

I had two weeks summer holiday in August.

It started with travelling to Iisalmi for Supermoto race.

We didn't got our own car with us,

so I was stuck around to race track.

But. When we arrived and my son were in training,

I put my rubber boots on and left to woods for berry picking.

Tabasalu Estonia in haste

The very first race of Finnish Championship of Supermoto was in Tabasalu, Estonia last Sunday.

Leaving over there was uncertain until Saturday morning.

So there was a little hurry to buy ticket on board

and make reservation to the hotel.

Back home from Madona

We drove back to Tallinn faster than we drove from  Tallinn to Madona.

It is weird.

Does hubby drive faster?

We made few stops, which I felt longer than on Friday.

On Saturday morning we enjoyed a great breakfast 

- and a lot of coffee.

We really weren't in hurry,

breakfast was served for us at 7 o'clock,

so we had almost three hour before we should be at race track.So we headed to market,

which we saw opening from our room window.

Supermoto season has now really started.

It means, that I will spend time in pit stop kitchen

- as well I have a chance to travel.

I guess it can be called already a tradition,

that I spend 1st of  May weekend in Latvia.

And we were in Imatra...once again

Last weekend was the very last race weekend of the year.

In Imatra.

We were there last year, too.

So, the road should be familiar, right?

Holiday with berries?

12 days.

It has been 12 days from my last note in here.

I have come out from woods,

but started with berries in the garden.

I am having my last summer holiday week.

 American Beauty Car Show went on late.

Last band started at 22:00

We left before that

- we had 3,5 km walk to hostel.

The only place, that wasn't full booked.

Walking to hostel gave me a chance to look around.

- in the old Bishop's Castle in Haapsalu.

So the days weren't filled with cars only.

We spent weekend overseas.

In Haapsalu, Estonia.

Admiring many Finnish cars and listening Finnish bands.

We were in American Beauty Car Show.

In the middle of nowhere - in Kaanaa

Supermoto brings me to weird places.

And weird situations.

I sit in car hours staring typical Finnish landscape.

Woods. Lakes. More woods.

Maybe few cows - or even horses.

As I did last Saturday.
