Center piece for autumnal equinox

Autumnal equinox will be next Tuesday.
It is time to say good bye for summer.
This year we are not having special dinner
- I know I won't have enough time for it,
so I guess I just will make some apples in oven.
But I made center piece for table ahead.

It is more abundant than usual.

I put all on tray I bought from IKEA a year ago
- just in case there will be need to move it.

There is my friend from last Christmas, Mr Hedgehod...

Some pieces from old bag of decors...

New candle in old vase...

Few more old candles.
And coffee pot for marigolds...

Cones from our trip to stormy beach of Helsinki few years back...

Tiny copper dishes from flea market years back...

Seeding marigold in the other coffee pot...

And more cones...

Few marigolds from garden plot...

Tray full of fall...

May I offer you an apple?

  3. Those apples look delicious, when you bake them, what do you add? I love baked apples with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

    1. I use same as you: 1 tb of butter, some brown sugar and cinnamon. I was wondering, would they be as great with melted chocolate, but not sure if I dare to test...And, yes, those apple are delicious :-)
