Small steps with slow project

Over two weeks ago I started with cottage

- with an idea to get it organized 

and also get decent working area for me.

I have found it, well, could I even use word "disaster"?

It is chaos.

And I haven't figured out the way to do it better.

Living room curtain

Last spring I saw drapes in jotex.fi.

They were expensive

- price was more than I was willing to pay.

I knew I wouldn't need them before the fall.

So I pinned them and decided to wait.

That was a mistake.

35 years

 On Wednesday, January 23, 1980 my Hubby and I got married.

We were wed in snowy, wet, cold weather in  registry office in Helsinki.

The mayor used very old fashioned marriage formula,

which caused a little problem:

I couldn't promise to obey my future husband.

Corner closet

Sigh.

Cornet closet.

Continuous headache.

I have put it in order tens and tens times.

And it is always a huge mess.

Equipment maintenance

 Motorist brought his equipment for wash.
And there was a little more than pinch to polish.

When I was staring at all the sand all over them,

it was a little hard to believe,

when he told he had washed them already with pressure washer.

Kitchen drawers

I had huge plans for this week.

But as it goes around here

- my plans changed radically.

Life is surprising sometimes.

But I had a good start,

and I have whole winter to go on.

And my kitchen drawers - all 6 -are in order!

Slow project going on...

I started to do some re-arrangementing in cottage.

Because it is storage as well as my studio,

it is always messed up.

And right now it is even more upside down. 

Curtain crisis and organizating decors

I have taken Christmas down.

Almost all the lights.

Some are still left, though.

Just couldn't let go yet.
