We are spending Midsummer weekend at home.
No festival, no summer cottage, no camping area.
Just home.
And garden.
There is so much blooming at this time of year
- and when nighsts are light,
it can be seen almost all night long.
Like columbines...

and Rhododendrons...

Spotted hawkweeds,
which sleeps in nights...

Lady' s mantles with bright yellow-green inflorescences...

Daisies...

Cow parsley...

woodland geranium...

After the dew has landed,
they spread their scents allover.
Dame's violets...

Lilacs...

Lupines...
Scotch roses...

and early peonies...

I cut some of them to bring their beauty and smell inside, too.

Our youngest will turn 27 tomorrow.
Howcome my children are so old?
Such a beautiful post and a delight to see. Thanks for the share dear, it is much appreciated. and most certainly keep up the good job!
