It's a sin

.
Less than a week ago we spent one of the greatest celebration of the year.
Christmas.
Celebration of love and joy,
light and good will.
We do charity,
we give - hopefully- from all our hearts,
we remember those,
who aren't as lucky as we are.

We decorate our homes.

We set the tables,
we light the candles.

We have tables bending under the food.

Some of us is celebrating the birth of their Christ.
Around the shortest day of the year,
Winter Solstice,
we visit cemetery,
light up candles for memory of those,
 who has gone before us.

Something bothers me.
A lot.
It is a sin,
the way of our government
- and parliament as well, too -
is leading our country.
How they treat the weakest,
the poorest,
the powerless.
Many of them call themselves as Christian.
Our prime minister.
Our treasury minister.
Yet they seems to have forgot,
what their own religion tells them.
What is said in their own Bible.
Maybe they should read again Matt 25: 34-46?

  2. I really like the way you narrated the blog, you mentioned all the good things in the start but highlighted issues which we all know that they exist but don't speak out. At least you speak out on it. Thank you for sharing this blog with us
