Shore of driftwoods

I love painting.
Not walls, but pictures.
I mostly use oil colors.
During the last decade I had a change to spent almost three years with painting.
And I painted.
At least 6 hours a day.
I also joined  few shared exhibitions and some of my own, too.

Broken Angel

After I started my full-time job and the first grandson was born,

I have had less time for painting.
And somehow it came harder.

I was anguished about things happening around our country and the world.
And they were reflected to my works.

Black Angel
I still have painted something.
Slowly.
And mostly rubbish.

Today I finished - finally - Shore of  driftwoods:

I miss the sea.

    1. Thank you, Stephanie. Black Angel is painted in 2007, when we had a great tragedy over here. At the same time I was going through a more abstract period as normal.

  2. They're all so pretty, but I love the bold colors in your first two! It's been years since I've picked up a paint brush simply for artistic expression. I'm inspired!

    1. Thanks, Zakkiya! This is one reason, why I am dreaming to leave early retirement: to get enough time for painting, few hours every now and then isn't enough, when I'd love to do it full-time.
